Registered Massage Therapist
Adrienne graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2008 and has been enjoying practicing massage ever since. She believes in the subtle power of massage therapy as a healing and wellness modality, not only for it’s ability to release tight structures, and nourish the body’s tissues but also for it’s restorative and calming effects on the nervous system.
In her treatments, Adrienne incorporates a variety of tools including Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release, Joint Mobilizations and Deep Tissue Techniques. She aims to access deeper structures in a way that still feels relaxing, thus reducing stress on the body as it navigates us through this busy and often chaotic world.
Adrienne loves working regularly with clients as part of their wellness and self-care regimen. She also practices pre and post natal massage and has experience treating a variety of conditions including: Low and Upper Back Pain, Sciatica, Headaches, TMJ Syndrome, Shoulder dysfunction and injuries, tendonitis, repetitive strain injuries, plantar fasciitis, whiplash and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
When not massaging Adrienne enjoys practicing yoga, hanging out at the park and making art with her six year old daughter. She strives to maintain an open, inclusive and empathic presence with her clients and is excited to be offering her services at Wildflower Healing Arts.
She works Wednesday and Friday

What is Registered Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health. It is a regulated profession in Ontario, bound by the Regulated Health Professionals Act and the Massage Therapy Act. Do you offer direct billing to my insurance?
We offer direct billing to most major insurers. Some plans will pay the clinic directly; others pay the insured member but allow us to submit on your behalf. You are then responsible for payment to the clinic on the day the service is provided. After all treatments we will provide you with an detailed receipt.
What will happen at my first appointment?
Your Massage Therapist will greet you in our waiting room and bring you into one of our treatment rooms. You will review your health history and any questions or concerns will be addressed. After a treatment plan is agreed upon and consented to by you, your therapist will leave to allow you to undress and position yourself on the table and under the sheets. The treatment will be tailored to your specific goals and the therapist will check in throughout your treatment to see how you're doing. After the treatment your therapist will ask how your feeling and may suggest exercises or stretches or suggest a followup appointment.
Do I have to get undressed?
